The Concept

Which crossed the road first: the chicken or the chocolate egg?

Had some fun thinking about a novel idea on how to package chocolate eggs and ended up mapping a cartoon chicken on a tetrahedron.

For an extra challenge the package is designed to stick together without glue. The prototypes worked well. Though I have not tried this at scale, the few lucky recipients of a Gallinaceous Chocolate Eggs package did not report it falling apart.

The way the package is meant to be opened is not entirely obvious, so while one could just go for tearing it apart, the bottom side features a visual hint that the bird beak has to be pried open to access the content. The idea is to insert a little play and a small challenge to entertain the customers and hopefully make the box content feel more valuable by it becomig a prize.

The biggest challenge with producing this package would be to figure out a way to ship the product, as the tetrahedrons do not stack well.
